CreatiVets, a recipient of a national Meredith Willson Award from The
The Music Man Foundation, hosted a workshop with Southern California veterans. CreatiVets pairs veterans with accomplished songwriters and music artists to creatively express their story through writing a song.
“Today’s workshop with CreatiVets and our local veterans is a perfect real-life example of how we can use the power of music to improve health and well-being,” said Katie Mackenzie, program officer with The Music Man Foundation.
