STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Funding  innovative and transformative work to advance the field of music

GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS OR SPECIAL ONE-TIME COLLABORATIVES

Strategic Partnership grants are made to organizations or special one-time collaboratives doing innovative and transformative work to advance the field of music, which may fall outside of the parameters of the Meredith Willson Awards, Strengthening the Sector grants, or Meredith Willson Legacy grants.

The Music Man Foundation seeks to provide grant funding to organizations that are:

  • Identified as having the potential to be system change agents.

  • Critical to music-focused ecosystems, but not well-aligned with our other grant opportunities.

  • On the verge of launching something new that will be significant for the field.

We foresee that these strategic grants may be longer-term partnerships, or opportunities for the Foundation to give meaningful support in early stages and/or on a short-term basis, to allow an organization to reach an important next level.

Strategic Partnerships grants vary in scope each year, and this grant opportunity is by invitation only. Grant amounts range based on the scope of the project.
